Robert Ricchiuti, M.D., F.A.C.S., is originally from Campbell, Ohio. He is a graduate of Kent State University where he attended from 1959 to 1962. In 1962, he began medical school at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated in 1966. From there he went on to do a rotating internship at Cincinnati General Hospital and finished in 1967. From 1967 to 1969 he spent time in the military and returned back to the U.S. in 1969 to do a surgical residency at E.J. Meyer Memorial Hospital at the University of New York in Buffalo, New York. From 1971 to 1974 he did a urologic residency at The University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. He returned to Youngstown in 1974 where he has been practicing general urology. He has participated in local, regional and national organizations. He has also been active in leadership roles at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Medical Center. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
