Richard Memo, M.D., F.A.C.S., is originally from New Castle, Pennsylvania. He attended college at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania from 1963 to 1967. From there he was accepted into medical school at St. Louis University where he attended from 1967 to 1971. In 1971, he did an internal medicine residency at St. Louis University School of Medicine and for a period of time worked for the Indian Health Services in the early seventies. In 1974, he did a surgical internship at Ohio State University and in 1975 began his urologic training at Ohio State University. In 1978, he returned to the Youngstown area where he joined practice with Dr. Robert Ricchiuti and has been in practice since. At this time he practices general urology. He has been President of Ohio Urological Society, North Central Fellow of Urology and is currently Treasurer of American Urological Society and Chairman Department of Surgery at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.  He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
