Mark Memo, D.O., F.A.C.S., is originally from the Youngstown area. He is a graduate of John Carroll University. He attended John Carroll from 1993 to 1997 where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1997, he returned to the Youngstown area and attended Youngstown State University where he did one year of graduate work in biology. From 1998 to 2002 he attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received his degree in doctor of osteopathy. After graduation from medical school, he was accepted into NEOUCOM affiliated urology residency training, a urology residency program in Akron, where he trained from 2002 to 2007. He returned to the area in 2007 and began practicing general urology. His special interests at present are robotics surgery, complex endoscopic stone management, female reconstruction and incontinence, infertility and sexual dysfunction, and oncologic management of genitourinary malignancies. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He serves in local, regional and national organizations.
